When do you accept clothing? Echo Trends intake schedule is Monday to Friday 10am to 3pm, established consignors are able to drop off after 3pm however, items not accepted are automatically donated.
*Important* We are receiving hundreds of items daily...please ensure you have inspected items from your home before bringing them to us. We allocate a short time period to inspect items, if at first glance of your items we feel they are dated, not freshly laundered, wrinkled...they will go back to you immediately

What do I bring the items in for consignment? More importantly is what not to bring them in...we will not accept garbage bags.
Kids should be brought in boxes, totes, paper shopping bags, laundry baskets (we will return) are all good ways to bring in your kids freshly laundered items.
Ladies should be brought in pressed and on hangers. This includes dresses, pants, jeans, t-shirts, button front tops, jackets, professional wear.
What is the procedure for a first time consignor? As a first time consignor we have you come in Monday to Friday 10am-3pm so we may sort through your items while you wait. At this time we set up your account, give you more detailed information about consigning, and answer any of your questions.
Do all items have to be laundered? Yes please ensure all items are washed before bringing them into us or they will be given back to you. All items must be free of perfumes, smoke, and other odors.
What kinds of items do you take?
We are looking for baby equipment, maternity fashions, infant, kids, and trendy ladies apparel in excellent condition that were purchased NEW very recently. Name brands are always our top sellers and always in demand at Echo Trends. Trendy items are what we are all about...our customers don't want the old out of style stuff...would you? We continually revise our acceptance standards to follow sales trends.
How much do I get for my items?
You will receive 40% of the basic consignment price of any and all items that sell in the 60-day contract period. We strive to take items that will sell quickly, at full-price early in the 60 day period.
When can I get money that is owed to me?
We pay cash on request. Your share of sold items posts to your account immediately* so you may pick up cash on any business day or let your account balance build up. You may also use money that Echo Trends owes you to purchase items in the store. *in the case of larger amounts we may need 24hrs notice
When do you switch seasons?
We accept spring items starting in January, summer in February, fall, end of July and winter, end of September.
What happens to my clothes after the 60 days?
If you would like your unsold item/items back you need to come in before the end of the 60 days otherwise they become the property of Echo Trends at which time we may sell or donate them as we see fit.
Are consigned items marked down?
Echo Trends staff prices items to sell quickly, however if an item has been on the floor longer than we like, we do mark items down.
Do my items have to be on hangers to consign with you?
Yes if they are ladies pieces and No if they are kids. Ladies work better if they are brought in on hangers, we can assess them quicker and more accurately on hangers. Kids being mostly jeans and t-shirts can be neatly folded into boxes, bins or paper shopping bags without being wrinkled. Items must be freshly laundered or they WILL be returned to you immediately NO EXCEPTIONS.
Who sets the prices for items?
Echo Trends staff does. We price items based upon supply and demand, season, brand, condition and what the market will bear. All items are tracked by a sophisticated data-base which is analyzed continually. If you make more money, we make more money.
Do you take out-of-town consignors?
Yes, Its Great! We have active consignors from several cities and towns in Ontario, Quebec and the States.. Many come to Cornwall and often bring us original merchandise that would not normally be seen in retail stores in this area.
Why not just pay cash for items?
We find consigning a mutually beneficial arrangement. Consignors share the bounty as demand drives prices up and share the risks if an item doesn't sell or must be clearance priced.
